This project was an exercise in: following a vintage pattern's instructions, resizing and redrafting a pattern to be two sizes smaller, have personalized alterations, and only using materials I already owned. It is composed of lavender and black linen with homemade piping and embroidered cowboy hats and cacti as in the original design. There are assorted pearlescent buttons, a screen-printed rose, and burgundy bias tape to match. The button up has facings, flat felled seams, pleated cuffs, and chainstitch details.
