This late 18th Century style Stay was made from modifying Butterick pattern B4254 to fix my body precisely through altering a mock-up. It includes many different lengths and directions of boning, tabs, grommets, and bias tape finishing. The outside fabric is 100% silk and layered with canvas and lining for a complete structure.
