Loved Linen Prints

Printed on Rives BFK and linen, the complete print was made with a total of 4 different colors and layers. Stencils were made from exposing a sentimental rose, buttons, ribbons, and lace onto the screen. The printed portrait is from a diffusion dither of a photograph printed on mylar and then turned into a screen stencil. I was greatly inspired by the Renaissance and Rococo styles of tapestries and clothing, but with a modern technique of using screen printing to romantically decorate this sewn stay.
